My Focus
My ambition is to continue to make a strong contribution by harnessing my diverse and wide-ranging public and private sector experience. I have done this successfully working with others – iwi, stakeholders and colleagues in the public sector – to support Ministers and the community to achieve their objectives.
I am motivated by challenge and new opportunities to drive change. For example, leading work on local government legislation, developing new approaches to operating the public sector in Mongolia, successfully working with the Land and Water Forum and supporting changes in the way Te Puni Kōkiri plans, budgets and reports on performance.
I am excited by system change (e.g. changes in public sector financial management, work on local government and climate change) as well as by specific projects (e.g. working on commercial transactions, including financial restructuring, and changing the approach to industry policy).
